Tablet Troubleshooting Guide

First, try Restarting your Tablet to resolve the issue. Most issues are resolved with this one simple step.

  • Press and hold the top-most button on the Right Side of the Tablet
  • Press “Restart”

 

If this does not resolve the issue, follow the below steps to perform a Hard Reset. Before attempting this, please ensure you have your Login Information and Wifi Password on hand.

  • Go to the Home Screen by pressing the ↩ Button a few times
  • Press the “Settings” Icon
  • On the Left, Scroll down until you see “Applications
  • On the Right, Press “Application Manager
  • Scroll down until you see “Postmates Order
  • Press the “Postmates Order” Icon
  • Press the bar that says “Storage.” This will expand the bar and offer you a couple buttons.
  • Press “Clear Cache” and confirm
  • Press “Clear Data” and confirm
  • Press the bar that says “Storage” again. This will close the bar.
  • Scroll up until you see “Force Stop
  • Press the “Force Stop” Button
  • Press and hold the top-most button on the Right Side of the Tablet
  • Press “Restart
  • Reconnect your Wifi and Login to the Postmates Order App

 

The following issues can occur if you are experiencing a problem with your Wifi connection:

  • Postmates Order App shows a Red Bar across the top that reads “No Internet Connection”
  • You did not receive an order
  • Your Tablet is showing that your location is closed but you are open. (Please also check your Hours to ensure it is not due to your settings)
  • The loading symbol will not go away (a small blue spinning circle).

 

First, attempt Restarting your Tablet to resolve the issue. If this is not effective, please ensure you have your Wifi Password and try the below steps:

  • Go to the HOME screen by pressing the ↩  Button a few times.
  • Press the “Settings” Icon
  • Press “Wi-Fi”
  • Press your Wi-Fi Network
  • Press “Forget” and wait for the available Wi-Fi connections to refresh
  • Press your Wi-Fi Network and Enter your Wi-Fi Password
